Biography:

Rick was born on December 17, 1969 in Calgary, Alberta Canada. The Calgary-born, Winnipeg-raised artist didn't discover his musical ability until meeting his wife Sharon in the summer of 1991. In 2001 a nightmare would change the direction of their lives and "Ten Candles" the title track of his five-song EP would be the result. Spurred on by friends, family and industry professionals, Rick decided to continue to write songs. His uncanny knack to evoke emotion from listeners brought high praise from musicians, songwriters, music directors and producers around the country. This allowed Rick the confidence to produce his first album and make the decision to take the plunge and enter the Canadian country music scene. Although a great songwriter, Rick's heart lies in performance. He has always stated that the audience gives far more to him than he could ever hope to give them. He and his wife Sharon currently live in Manitoba with their three children Nicole, Kevin and Crystal.
